The Socal Regional ACM ICPC organization has had a record number of teams registered. Please help us make this year's contest the best ever. We are working with RCC to find as many machines as possible for the contest. It is possible that we may have to turn some teams away this year.
If your Institution has more than 3 teams entered, please follow the instructions found below.
See the Team Approvals section of Bulletin 2 for more information on the approval process.
IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN THREE TEAMS REGISTERED

Please be sure than any and all eligibility issues are resolved and the team fee is paid.

Institutions that have entered more than three teams should advise the Registrar of the order in which they want their teams approved.
This can be done in one of two ways.

Method 2:
Adjust your team names by appending a number to the end of the team name (the Registrar will remove this number before badges are printed and lists generated). |
Absent instruction, teams will be approved in the order (date/time) in which they were created.
Example:
School registered five teams (A, B, C, D, E), in that order.
Method 1: Coach sends email to the registrar
"Please approve teams in this order: D, B, C, A, E." |
Method 2: Coach changes team names
Coach changes the names to D_1, B_2, C_3, A_4, E_5. |
Approvals would occur as follows:
- IF
- Team members have completed all information; AND
- There are no eligibility issues; AND
- The team fee is paid
- THEN the Registrar would approve teams D, B, and C after 11/1
- Team A would be approved, if there is space, in the first round of approvals starting 11/5
- Team E would be approved, if there is space, in the second round of approvals
Absent instruction, the Registrar would approve teams A, B, and C after 11/1; and teams D and E would be considered after 11/5 and approved on a space available basis.
